This book was authored by Mr. Prem Narain who was the body guard and personal driver of the Ex Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi who was also the daughter of the first Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The writer Mr. Prem Narain has authored this book as revenge to expose the ruler family because Prem Narain's innocent brother Jagat Narain was accused of a murder and later on hanged by the Indira Gandhi's government. The author Mr. Prem Narain tried a lot and requested the ruler family to save his brother but they did not. After Publishing of Jab Indira Jawan Thi Urdu book, the government imposed the ban on the book and recollected 27 of the 30 sold books. Three books could not be recovered by the Indian government. One of the three copies was with Prem Narain's friend who was in Afghanistan and later on, he sold this book to a Pakistani journalist for Rs. 1600. The book was then translated into the Urdu language.
